TRUCKING
Jason Gizen - owner, truck driver, Farmer.

In 1999, big Inland terminals were being built which lead to the closing of many small grain elevators.  The need for
custom grain hauling in our area was becoming very apparent.   I started Jag Trucking looking for a way to
supplement my farming income.  At that time I only had one truck and Jag Trucking consisted of my truck and I, with
the occasional pair of hands and a strong back to help with the shovelling.
At present, Jag Trucking has expanded to 4 trucks,  2 of which are lease operators.   Most of our hauling jobs take
place within a 160km radius of Prelate, Saskatchewan.  Prelate is the village in the South West corner of
Saskatchewan where I grew up and now reside with my wife Angela and our dog Sadi.
My wife and I, along with my dad Jerry Gizen came up with the name for Jag Trucking - "J" for Jason, "A" for Angela,
and "G" for Gizen.  We haul almost anything grown on a farm as well as fertilizer.  Our motto "If you can grow it we
can tow it", pretty much sums it up.   Angela  and Jason Gizen below.
